Instrument light dimmer
smeegazzle writes "On one of the switch blanks (mine was the middle one), you will find a metal strip connecting two wires. If you disconnect the plug from the blank and fit a 10ohm high wattage resistor (5 or 10 watt) with a switch across it - you get a switchable instrument dimmer! I leave the switch location and type up to you... Maplin do some nice simple, latching push button switches for about a pound. Love Smeegazzle (tight bastid)"
